Web Design Case Study

Eat Pray Love Eatery

The Project

Nooty got in touch with Joy Marketing when she was about to open her first eatery - Eat Pray Love Eatery in Pukehina. The whole idea was to create a Thai inspired menu and offer cooking classes in the evenings for food enthusiasts. Nooty already had her new logo sorted and she showed us some photos that inspired her.

The Goal

One of the main goal for the Eat Pray Love Eatery website was to make it easy for hungry visitors to view the menu and find the location and contact information. The other main goal was to add a payment option for the cooking classes Online.

The Style, Feel & Tone

We met Nooty over a cup of coffee and discussed her new business. We talked about how she wanted her website visitors to feel as they entered her website and what action she wanted them to take (book a cooking class or see the menu).

Brand Board
We created a brand board to capture the essence of Eat Pray Love Eatery and to make sure that we were both on the same page.

The Solution

With well thought out placements of call-to-action buttons throughout the site the visitor will now easily be able to view the menu, get in touch with Nooty or book a cooking class. We added icons to visually reenforce the topics of the website sections.

To make the website easily found Online we built it SEO friendly from scratch by using correct heading tags, meta data and target keywords.

The Result

It was just as joyful to build and design the site for Eat Pray Love Eatery as it was to show the end result to Nooty. The images, colour combination, layout and copy all turned out beautifully together. The new design really represents the essence of Nooty's Thai inspired eatery and it is now easy for her visitors to book a cooking class or to get in touch with her. A fun, creative and enjoyable project to be a part of!
