About the Project

Sofie is a trained and experienced holistic health coach based in Tauranga. When she got in touch with us at Joy Marketing she had a beautifully designed website but it was not performing well Online. Together we sat down and discussed her business and website goals and created a plan on how to reach them.

The Challenge

Scandi Health Coaching is a very local business as Sofie is targeting women within a fairly narrow area. She already had a few strong competitors who's been around for longer than her. Another challenge was that her site was lacking domain authority and off-page SEO components such as backlinks and a Google Business Profile.

The Solution

Research & Assessment

The first thing we did after our discovery meeting was to perform a full scale SEO Audit of Sofie's website. We also did a comprehensive competitor research to learn more about other health coaches in her area, and finding untapped opportunities.

We also performed a keyword analysis to pin-point which words and phrases Sofie's ideal clients are typing in to Google's search bar to find the services she is offering.

Strategy & Implementation

The on-page SEO strategy included optimisation of meta data for Scandi Health Coaching. We also created well structured landing pages, corrected the heading tags and added more headings to help the visitor and search engines to put Sofie's content in context.

The technical audit highlighted a list of issues that we resolved in order to assure a healthy site without compromised performance.

The Result

After implementing on-page SEO, working on the off-page SEO components and adding a Google Business Profile the results were starting to show after just a few days. Scandi Health Coaching is now ranking as #2 for her most important target keywords. Sofie has also got a plan and strategy in place to keep growing and improving her rankings.
